A lot of times people would say something like this:
"I don't want to have anything to do with photography. Everyone is doing it. They all are poser!!"
"I don't want to listen to POP music. It's lame! Everyone is doing it"
The Truth:
"I want to do all those stuff but being part of a trend is not cool. And I want to be cool"
Sad but true.
My advice- Stash your ego in your back pocket.
